Machine Tool Technology (MTT) realizes the importance of investing in CNC machine tool research and development.
We’ve developed significant relationships with industrial and academic research partners, working closely with organizations such as Renishaw plc, the University of Huddersfield, and Napier University to develop solutions and new technologies.
The target is to accelerate the development of manufacturing technology, with MTT at the forefront of testing and comparing the latest equipment for Renishaw.
Pure academic research has included work on the SAMULET (Strategic Affordable Manufacturing in the UK through Leading Environmental Technologies) project. This Rolls-Royce led collaboration involves industry and academia and targets rapid development of manufacturing and product technologies.
